SOLIDARITÉ supported the educational trip that the “Maison Familiale” of Peyregoux of Castres, France organised to Pondichery.
10 cookery apprentices decided to organise an exchange project to southern India. During their course they compared their cooking techniques with those of the catering school in Pondichery.
They discovered and exchanged recipes, but more importantly they learned about the hardships that farmers face in India.

To conclude their trip, they organised a communal dinner. The French minister of defence, Mr Bockel, the French ambassador, Mr Bonnafon and the French consul Mrs Rayet all attended.
