Our missions and achievements receive little media coverage but they do have the merite of being efficient.

Our projects are carried out only in response to a formal request from the direct beneficiaries and always in relation to needs identified by our partners. Each project respects the will of our financial partners and our donors.

The money wich we collect is used uniquely to put in place projects in the field and for the running of the association : 6% of donations destined for projects are used to finance part of our running costs.

On average, the budgets of our projects vary between 15 000 € and 350 000 €. SOLIDARITÉ has set itself a quota of a maximum of 10 projects per yer, wich allows us to correctly monitor, manage and control the projects that the association supports. In this way we are able to maintain a human scale.

We have 3 sources of finance :

  • Public and International organisations (in particularly the French Foreign and European Ministries, the European Commission and the 1% from United Nations)
  • Private foundations (in particular the Fondation de France, the fondation France Libertés and the Hermès company foundation, etc.)
  • Personal donations and legacies

The loyalty of our backers is a vital element which allows us to achieve our objective : set up long-term projects with our local partners and thus satisfy the essential needs of the most disadvantage populations of the poorest religions and countries in the world.

Our accounts are audited twice : by the Chartered Accountancy practice AEC in Toulouse and by auditors in the countries where we work in order to certify expenditure allocated for field work.

Our annual accounts are published in the French Offcial Journal. You can consult them on the site : www.journal-officiel.gouv.fr or by clicking on this link.
