Our approach

All the versions of this article: [English] [Español] [français]

Meeting the needs of the most deprived in the poverty stricken regions and countries of the world, according to an alternative form of development

We support long term projects (3 years on average) in order to concentrate our efforts on regions that we know well. The projects are entrusted to local organisations (associations, NGO etc...) recognised for their honesty and efficiency. We work directly with moderators, project leaders, nationwide coordinators and technical collaborators, whose local knowledge, excellent professional credentials and in the field know how are essential for selecting, conducting and evaluating projects. Each project is suggested to us by the local populations themselves.

The synergy among co-operators is paramount to bringing the projects to life. Our aim is also to establish a network among the Southern nations and contribute to the passing on of knowledge.

To ascertain we achieve the best possible results, we monitor each project closely and implement frequent in-field check-ups. Our local co-ordinators and French project managers make regular assessments of the headway and the needs yet to be met.
We pay careful attention to the way of life and the desires of the local populations.
